Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you submit a form on this site we collect the information you enter: name, phone number, email address, project address or ZIP code, project type, estimated investment, timing, your description of the project, and, if you provide it, the name of a referring broker or partner. We also record how you reached the site (the page you landed on, the referring website, and any campaign tags in the link you clicked) so that your inquiry is routed to the right person and so we can understand which of our marketing efforts actually lead to projects.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, schedule and conduct a site visit, prepare a scope and proposal, and, if you become a client, manage your project. We may look up publicly available permit history for the project address before we talk. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are processed by our website host (Netlify) and delivered to Portland Project by email. Inquiry and project records are stored in our customer-relationship and project-management systems. If your project proceeds, relevant details are shared with the architects, engineers and licensed specialty trades working on it, under written agreements with us. We may disclose information when required by law.

Address lookup

The address field on our project form may offer suggestions powered by Google Maps Platform. If you use it, the text you type is sent to Google to generate suggestions and is subject to Google's privacy policy. You can ignore the suggestions and type the address manually.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which lead to inquiries. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, and device type; Google's handling of that data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We also use browser storage to remember how you arrived at the site during your visit so that inquiries can be attributed to the right source. We do not use advertising cookies to track you across other websites.

Project photography and reviews

We publish project photography and client reviews only with permission, identified by neighborhood or city rather than address, and never with client surnames unless the client has agreed in writing.
